Utah Family Video (Utah Part 3)

Hope you all are having a great week! If you didn’t catch my part 1 and part 2 of our Utah trip, check them out. We had a wonderful time on our last big trip before we become a family of three and this one was special because we got to share it with Matt’s side of the family. I love making travel videos, so I definitely wanted to make sure I documented this trip with a little video. Hope you enjoy!

Cheers,

Aubrey

Mirror Lake Exploring (Utah Part 2)

If you didn’t catch my first Utah post, be sure to check it out for my recommendations on what to do in Salt Lake City and Park City. One of my favorite things we did in Utah was take a trip to Mirror Lake. It was a gorgeous 45-60 minute drive, easy for all of our family members (who were a variety of ages) and so much fun. We were able to walk around the lake and get some beautiful photos of the scenery. On our way to Mirror Lake, we stopped at the Samak Smoke House for a bathroom break, beef jerky and other goodies. We took our time on the drive up to Mirror Lake, admiring the scenery, stopping for photos and getting out to explore Upper Provo Falls.

Salt Lake & Park City Guide (Utah Part 1)

At the beginning of August, we spent about a week in Park City with a day trip to a National Park and a day trip to Salt Lake City. Matt’s cousin lives in Utah, so we brought most of Matt’s family along for this adventure. This was new for us, because we’re used to traveling just the two of us, so it was fun to have others along with us. We absolutely loved Park City and thought it was a nice break from the blistering blazing Georgia heat that we experience in August. The weather in Park City was perfect. We found tons to do and lots of other cool places to access from Park City. Here are a few tips for a budget friendly, summer adventure in Utah! :)

Life Lately

The month of October has been a much needed change of pace from the rest of the year. It was filled with evenings with friends, visits from family, a cooking class, farmer’s market mornings and antique shop finds. We’ve been able to work on our house a lot lately and find a bit more time for “staycations.” Also, I finally got to bring out my fall sweaters and it felt so good. :) Here are a few photos of life lately.

One of our favorite parts about our city is Main Street and how much our town is investing in this area. It’s given us a few really awesome restaurants and some great memories with friends.

Georgia Hiking Day

Last weekend, we went to a little mountain trail in North Georgia called Sawnee Mountain Preserve, but it’s also known as Indian Seats. Two of our best friends, Ashley & Nathan, were in town for New Year’s, so we decided it was a perfect time to explore this beautiful part of Georgia on an equally beautiful day. We finally had some cooolllddd weather so I was really excited to be outside! As always, I just had to take a few pictures and I even made a little video of our adventures. I’m glad I did, because I think this will be a day we look back on and cherish for years to come. Sometimes it’s the little adventures with lots of laughter and really awesome people that mean the most. Hope you enjoy!
